Buyer's agent for online car auctions
I help you figure out what a car on Bring a Trailer or Cars & Bids is really worth, and what to watch out for, before you bid.
First reports: pay after you get it.
One report, written for the car you're watching. No templates, no generic price guides.
Most people start with a Pre-Bid Report. Step up when the car, or the money, gets serious.
Everything on the list above, for the one car you're eyeing.
The full report, plus I set up an independent inspection before the auction ends, plan your bids with you, and get shipping quotes.
Request ConciergeTell me the car you want. I'll watch the auctions, check out the candidates, and tell you which ones to bid on and how much.
Start sourcingYou always place your own bids. I just help you decide.
Here's a real one I did on a 2020 BMW M2 Competition, exactly as the buyer got it.
Bid to $43,000 hammer if the Carfax odometer flag is still open at close. Stretch to $47,500 only if the seller posts proof Carfax corrected it.
| Date | Car | Sold |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 3, 2026 | 19k-mile 2021, Hockenheim Silver, modified | $51,000 |
| Sep 26, 2026 | 8k-mile 2020 | $57,500 |
| Sep 18, 2026 | 2021, Black Sapphire | $51,500 |
| Jun 29, 2026 | 2019, Long Beach Blue | $42,750 |
| Mar 1, 2026 | 2020, Hockenheim Silver, 26k+ mi | $49,666 |
The seller's scans look credible, but the correction wasn't back by close. Expect a $5,000 to $7,000 hit at resale until it's amended.
Ask who handles the payoff and how many days to title.
Camber plates and a skid plate suggest track days.
No service records beyond a pre-sale oil change.
At $43,000 or under, you're paid for the Carfax risk. Above $47,500 you're paying clean-car money for a car that isn't clean on paper.
It's easy to get swept up at the end of an auction and pay too much for a car with a story you didn't catch.
I go through every listing the way I'd go through a car I was buying myself: the history report, every comment, the photos, and what similar cars actually sold for.
Then I tell you straight what I'd pay, and you decide.
Three steps, and you don't pay for your first report until it's in your inbox.

No. My reports are research and opinion, not an inspection. If you want one, I'll set up an independent inspection for you as part of Bid Concierge.
Never. You always bid on your own account. I just help you decide how far to go.
